Three design changes to Blogger homepage. Two major changes in 2004 and late 2010; one minor revision in mid 2008. I like the old ones better: 2004 > 2008 > 2010. The latest design looks kind of geeky, and it looks harder and colder. It’s less touching than the 2004 classic - yes I think that was a classic.
And here’s what Google promises to give us in the future:

Just don’t like them. It looks too cold, and too technology oriented. I wouldn’t know the second picture is not Google Docs but the new post editor for Blogger, if I did not see them on Blogger Buzz site. It reminds me of Microsoft Word or something else… more like I’m working on a paper, not a personal blog.
The same affection may explain why I want its name “Blogger” to be kept. There are some rumors saying that Google is going to rename Blogger as something like “Google Blogs.” I will say no to the new name if Google really do so in the future. “Google Blogs” just sounds lame, don’t you think?
