"Not only does Snow Leopard not require the entry of any serial numbers, but the standard version of Snow Leopard is a bootable “full install” disc that doesn’t actually check for the presence of Leopard in order to install. This also means that if, at a later time, you want to wipe your hard drive and reinstall Snow Leopard, you won’t have to first install Leopard and then run a separate Snow Leopard upgrade on top of it."

Yes, the longed Mac OS X Snow Leopard (10.6) is coming right up. The link brings to the purchase page for the upgrade version, which sells for NT$ 1,090 (and in US $29.) It is so appealing… I almost can’t wait to put the order!
But there is one question: this is an “upgrade for Leopard users,” so does that means the installation must be an “upgrade,” so I’ll have to install Leopard in advance and “upgrade” to Snow Leopard later if I want to have my Mac restored?
